1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using EncourageWeekly, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this website or subscribe to the service.
2. Description of Service
EncourageWeekly is a Christian encouragement letter service where Managing Member Pastor James Oliver writes weekly handwritten encouragement letters intended for incarcerated individuals. Subscribers pay for letters to be mailed to a friend or family member currently incarcerated.
3. Subscriber Responsibilities
By subscribing to the service, you agree that:
- You will provide accurate mailing and inmate information.
- You are responsible for ensuring the recipient is allowed to receive mail at their facility.
- You understand prison and jail mail systems vary by facility.
- You understand some facilities may scan, delay, reject, or digitally deliver mail.
- You will not use the service for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
4. Correctional Facility Mail Policies
EncourageWeekly makes reasonable efforts to comply with correctional facility mail requirements when known. However, every facility operates differently. We cannot guarantee delivery, acceptance, timing, or processing by any jail, prison, or correctional institution.
5. Subscription Billing
Subscription fees are billed according to the plan selected during signup. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically each month unless canceled before the next billing cycle. Annual subscriptions renew yearly unless canceled prior to renewal.
6. Refund Policy
Because handwritten letters are prepared and mailed as part of the service, refunds are generally not provided once work has begun or letters have been mailed. If you experience a billing issue or service concern, please contact us and we will work with you reasonably and fairly.
7. Delivery Timing
EncourageWeekly mails letters weekly, but actual delivery timing depends on postal services and correctional facility processing procedures. Delays may occur due to holidays, staffing shortages, lockdowns, mail inspections, or facility policies outside of our control.
8. No Counseling or Medical Advice
EncourageWeekly provides spiritual encouragement and pastoral support only. The service is not licensed counseling, mental health treatment, legal advice, or medical care.
9. Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, written materials, graphics, and letter content created by EncourageWeekly remain the intellectual property of Catelleon Solutions, LLC unless otherwise stated.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Catelleon Solutions, LLC and EncourageWeekly are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, emotional, or punitive damages arising from the use of this service, including mail delays, rejected mail, emotional distress, facility actions, or communication interruptions.
11. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate subscriptions or website access for abusive behavior, fraud, misuse of the service, nonpayment, or violations of these Terms.
12. Privacy
Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in that policy.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Continued use of the website or service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
